I was riding along in my truck today thinking, and this question came to mind. I wonder, on average, how far does a content, relaxed deer normally travel in a 1/2 hour? I will reveal what brought this thought on, after I get some replies.

I would guess its whatever is on that deers mind... I would think if a deer felt comfortable in a spot it will be there for awhile and move very slowly where ever its going. I would say not very far.

If there was ever a wrong answer to this question, PT just gave it.
I am speaking of outside the rut in general. Perhaps just feeding along, or headed to bed.
