Default Admiral Review and weight

I plan on buying an Admiral in the next week. Can anyone who has one give me their review, opinion on it? Also, what is the weight of the bare bow?

I don't own one but I shot one last night. I really believe the Admiral is one of the sweetest shooting bows I have ever shot. And I have never been a big fan of super short bows. The Admiral has changed my mind.

As for the weight, they don't list the weight of their bows anymore. But I'm sure someone can throw theirs on a scale for ya. I can tell you that it's not much.

3.9 lbs. Best bow on the market.

Should a Bowtech Staffer really be describing a Hoyt Alphamax like this?[8D]

There has been a lot written about it already.

If you have already made your mind up about it.... why need a review? Shoot the thing before you buy it.

lol, they do seem to be pretty comparable. I've only messed with the Alpha Max but I suppose if that I was choosing between the two it would come down to smoothest draw, feel, and least top heavy for me and price of course.

I shot the alpha max and the admiral and ended up going with the admiral, not only is it way smoother but the fact that the only sound u hear is the arrow hitting the target. I also found that the alphamax vibrates in the handle horribly.BOWTECH is the way to go

The Admiral is one sweet bow light, quick, quiet and no hand shock. It holds very steady at full draw also. I am looking at getting one but I am very attached to my 07 Guardian and don't know if I can let it go. I have to go shoot them side by side to see what I want to do. Go shoot one you won't be disappointed.

Im sure many of youhave seen it alreadybut here is my take on the AM35 and the Captain. The only differnce to me in the admiral and the captain was that the admiral felt less top heavy. Teh captain and the mathewsreezen are both oddly top heavy. Especially if you compare them to the AM.
