Wheres about in Randolph. That is where I hunt exclusivley. Can't imagine a place in Randolph County (especially 1000 acres) that isn't already hunted if the property owner allows it.
Anyhow, ground is flat with lots of open fields speckled with patches of woods typically in the 20-50 acre size. It is a 1 antlerless deer county (meaning does are not overly abundant). Not known for producing deer in the Hoosier Record Buck class. Guys typically shoot on sight killing a lot of young bucks.
This year, we have had a difficult time even seeing deer. Local checkin station is well below the normal average.
