You need to set the time and date on your camera LOL. He looks like he's got a really long body. When was that picture taken?

I shot a hoss of a 1.5 year old this year and if he'd have made it to next year, id expect him to look similar to that guy. I think your accurate.

Looking at that THICK COAT, looks like y'all in for a LONG COLD winter like we are over here!!!! I agree with you, I think his facial feature look a little immature yet, but his body may not look quite as big if you could see ALL of his legs, and his "feathers" weren't so ruffled, but even yet, he still looks to have a fairly large body. Next year, he may be a HOSS!!!

Nice sized deer if he is a 2.5 year old... I would have let him have it!
next year he will be a whopper though..
