2009 Tuff Bow Competition

Before I procrastinate about this again, here it is:

WHAT: 2009 TUFF BOW COMPETITION
WHEN: JULY 18 - 19, 2009
WHERE: CHARITON, IOWA

ENTRY FEE: $35.00

This will be the first (that I know of) of it's type. Competitors will navigate around a course that is a little over a mile with 12 targets to shoot at different unmarked distances. They will be timed through the course and penalized for targets missed and rewarded for hitting the bullseye on each target. The person for each category with the best time will receive 40% of the money for that category. 30% will go to 2nd place; and 20% to third. 10% of each category will go to defer the costs of port-a-johns, insurance, and permits.

just a quick question. is the scoring system going to be strictly hit or miss, or will there be different point attribute for being close but not hitting a bullseye

Hit the bullseye = 2 minutes taken off your time.
Hit the target = no time difference
Miss the target = 5 minutes added to time.

My big arse would have to hit all the bullseyes to knock of the time it would take me to get around the course
