Default Who knows? If not, take a guess!

What is the "margin" on a bow. I mean that business wise. How much does it cost to make one, in production?

I think I'd hate to know!

I have ZERO idea. I'll guess in the $100 range.

It's a very tricky number to get out of the insiders. I'd say its $100 or less. They ain't getting rich selling bows.

YOu kidding? What costs are you leaving out?

1. Facilities
2. Employees salaries
3. Insurances
4. Advertising
5. R&D
6. Patents

WAY too many to list them all.......

Agreed. LOTS. But, I'm still saying it is in the $100 range.

The actual bow is the cheap part!

I will say much higher than $100.Actually MUCH higher

Machining cost are high as well as materials.

I KNOW that companies get a much better rate on materials than we do but just for giggles,go try and figure what materials alone would cost for a bow for YOU to buy.

I used the wrong terminology! Man, I'm on my game tonight!

Margin meaning how much they actually MAKE on the bow.

I do wonder what the TOTAL COST would be of a single bow.

Some accounting facts from a kid that has an accounting test tomorrow morning!

I misread your question...I thought you meant what kind of margin the dealers make on a bow.

As for the companies, I have no idea.[&:]

If you knew one (cost / margin).....couldn't you discern the other?
