Default New member of the family

Our weimeriner got run over last week and my son was DEVISTATED.This dog and he were more like littermates than master and dog.

Well,we were really heartbroken to watch him so down that we went and got him/us another lab(we had one that died last summer at 14)

You should have seen him perk up when I played the video of Dalton's turkey calls.

Here he is.

Sorry about that. Maybe you can train him to be a blood tracker or sumthing!

Pups are awesome!! I plan on getting another black lab next Spring. Sorry for the loss on your other dog, It sucks and It's tough on everyone!! This should help allot having a new pup around.

Sorry to hear about your loss, hopefully your son takes to the new guy as well.

From the looks of him, you're going to need a second budget for food. His feet are pretty big and he looks healthy. We had a lab like that, named him Ruger, he ended up tippingthe scales at 103lbs.

Have you picked a name for him yet? Great looking pup.

He is just 3 months old in the pic,we actually got him a couple days after our other dog passed. His name is Shadow.

My son really loved the other dog and really misses him.He really took it hard,he was laying over him crying in the front yard(untill I got home and was able to bury him) quite a while after it happened and it broke our hearts to see him heartbroke like this.I never was able to get attached to him,he just cost me too much money with the stuff he tore up but he was my son's best friend.

My son has taken quite well to the new dog but he isn't able to wrestle with him YET the way he did with Jake. But Shadow has definately sped up the healing process.

Thanks for the kind words.

Just to give you an idea of just how attached they were.
