Default leaking gas line and deer

A leaking gas line(not gasoline).......will deer avoid the immediate area if they smell it? Don't know about underground but the standup pipe is 2" in diameter. It was leaking enough that you could smell and hear it.

Seems to me they would, but never ran into this before. By the way its repaired now.

I think those underground lines bleed off all the time. We used to have one cut through the woods where I hunted. They crossed it religiously every morning and every night. Smelled stuff all the time. I don't think it bothers them at all.

Ditto, this, the lines do constantly "bleed," and most of the places I hunt you can catch a little hint of Nat. Gas somewhere on the property, some places a BIG HINT. I've killed several deer within 100yds of wells on one property in particular.

You know we are in troubled times when deer start using inhalants to get high....unbelievable.
