Default what are they eating in your area?

what are the deer eating? I have no freakin clue. I guess they are finding some acorns, and that's all I know of, maybe some leafy type stuff I have seen them eating... state where you hunt, south, midwest, north, etc..

Turnips and winter wheat in my food plots.

Believe it or not we have very very few acorns and the deer are eating hickory nuts.I had a button buck right under me crunching on hickory nuts last weekend.

My bucks gut pile was demolished the first night, stomach contents were all that remained....and it looked like a corn pile poured out by a hunter. few nuts and acorns, but nearly all corn, assuming from the neighbors standing corn patch.
