Question for GMMAT
Jeff did you shoot your buck with your heavier setup? If so, did you like it better? I am talking from the start of shot, seeing the arrow impact and penetration.

RE: Question for GMMAT
Yes. I shot him with the new PSE Black Mamba arrow setup. I added over 100gr of late......and gained KE a few FP's.
I saw the arrow impact....which was a HUGE confidence builder to me. I didn't get a pass-thru, but I wouldn't expect that with the shot angle I attempted.
I'm not going back. I may experiment with different heads during the off-season....but I'll never shoot a lighter arrow, again, hunting.

RE: Question for GMMAT
For 30yds....it was spotty. Like I said in the recap....when he got about 35yds away...I saw a huge rush of blood pump out of the entrance wound. Ray Charles could have followed it from there to the point of recovery.

RE: Question for GMMAT
Same way with the last deer i shot with the rage, spotty blood for about 30 yds and then a blood bath for the rest.
