Default Just so I can stay on top of this stuff...

When did a stand become a set? Was it before or after people started "harvesting" deer insteadof killing them?

When people starting filming hunts with two guys in the tree. 2 Stands = Set.

Well in that case I'm calling my stand a POD. You know...... I went to my POD this afternoon and killed a fine buck.

POD = Perch of Doom.

As you all know, I am a trend setter! (see my new deer pose).

Wow, sounds like 2 famous lines from every Drury video I've ever seen. Add in "I'm one happy camper"and '" It doesn't get any better than this", and you've got it![8D]

I say "set" all the time. I hunt exclusively from a climber....and a particular stand site could have several "sets".....according to where I climb that day (due to wind, thermals, trail locations, terrain,etc...).

I look at it as more than just which treemy stand is infor that sit.

That's the way I look at it. A "set" is a set of stands hung. Other wise I hang it's stand to me. (single stand, not set of stands).

But I like GregH's view. Yeah my POD. Instead of Perch Greg, how about Platform of Doom?
