When did a stand become a set? Was it before or after people started "harvesting" deer insteadof killing them?
Wow, sounds like 2 famous lines from every Drury video I've ever seen. Add in "I'm one happy camper"and '" It doesn't get any better than this", and you've got it![8D]
I say "set" all the time. I hunt exclusively from a climber....and a particular stand site could have several "sets".....according to where I climb that day (due to wind, thermals, trail locations, terrain,etc...).
I look at it as more than just which treemy stand is infor that sit.

[/align]I think the term is used for multiple people and/or objects making up an area that one is hunting ..... eg. decoys, camera man, scent area, etc.
