There is no right anwser, just asking for opinions. My uncle sent me a text this morning saying he had a small 8 with a broken leg chasing a doe in front of him. He did not get closer than 65 yards. A few minutes later I see the same deer across a field running the doe. His leg is pretty bad when he walks, he does not use, it he kind of hops. However when the doe cut out wide open he was right on her heels, I watched him run about 100 yards across the egde of the field, and when they left my sight they reappeared on the gasline (where my uncle could see) and he stayed right behind her for another 200 yards until the veered into the woods. We later learned that the builder whom owns the land beside us let a few guys hunt and they stcuk a small buck in the leg. My question is based on the information above do you think the deer will make it. We decided he was in to good of shape totake 60, and 70 yards shots at him (which I would do if he were hunched over with an arrow hanging out of his stomach),because if he is fine then we run the risk of actually injuring him and making him suffer. As I said I am not looking for an answer to help me with a decision, just some conversation on what you guys think.

RE: Just your opinion
Take 'im on the first good close shot you get...if it infects it does no-one any good...and 3 legged deer can run...don't mean it aint game or hurting him.
