I had to make a tough decision this morning

I know that this is off topic butthis is the only forum that I visit so here it goes. Last night my wife comes in and tells me that my 9 year olds first pet, a rabbit, doesn't look right. Well i go out to the cage and there's definately something wrong. So I went out this morning and it wasn't any better so I had to put it down and bury it. Now I just have to find a way to tell my son. This sucks.

Yikes, that does suck. Pets are tough with young kids, hopefully he takes it alright. Good luck man.

I know the feeling. This past year I had to put down our pet dog of 11 years, my 11 year son old also had a hamster that he had for 2 years and a fish that was 3 years old die. Its been a rough year. I had him help me bury the hamster and the dog so that helped him out a little. Best of luck.
