Default Fred Bear Lights Out

What do you guys think of this bow? Do any of you shoot it? This will be my second bow. My first bow was one with no brand name that I know of, but did the job on a nice wild hog. I havent had the chance to shoot a deer with it though. I've grown out of it now and want to buy a new one.

The Lights Out really catches my eye for some reason. I like the fact that it is pretty short (30" ATA vs. my bow that is33"),andvery light(almost half the weight of my present bow).Im not to worried about getting the fastest or the newest bow out,and I'm on a budgetso the Lights out seems to be right up my alley.

I havent got out there and shot any bows yet, but I do plan to soon. I'm just kind of narrowing down the choices. Also, what other bows would you also recommend me to have a look at.

Thanks, RBH

VERY cool little bow. I shot one recently and it made me smile!

I will have one in the Darkhorse finish for turkey season.

Not sure about the Lights Out but I really enjoy my Fred Bear. I have the TRX from a few years ago and yeah it may not be a Mathews or BowTech, but it sure gets the job done. Good luck!

I have a Bear Instinct that i really enjoy shooting. Not bad on price either, you can still get new ones on ebay for around $300. Check it out
