Default well my hunting season is over another tag soup year

The day before season i bought a truck from a local lot. 1000 down 300 a month till i pay it off.
I put front brakes on it the first week i had it. A new starter within a month.

I went to get the title and found out it was a IL title and had two wrong Vin numbers. Then after two weeks of waiting the guy ask me to bring it by to get a police Vin check to show what the Vin was. Then today he tells me it will be another week before the auction he bought it from can send the title in to see if Indiana will make the change. IF not it is on IL and a 6 week wait.
He told me he could get me another truck or give me my money back.
So tomorrow i go to get the trade in value brakes starter oil change everything i have in the truck. Which come to 1885.
I had two choices go to the other used car lot in town buy a 1996 1/2 ton Chevy extended. cab. Or give my dad the 1800. Then give him 4000 from my student loan in Feb and 300 a month until i paid him off for his 07 Chevy 1/2 2wd.

SO for long term which is always best i went with the 07. I get a new truck with 8200 miles for 11,600 which i what he paid basically for a buy her pay here deal.
Problem is i can not transfer it till Feb which means no insurance which mean no truck till Feb.
He told me if i need to drive across town that was OK but he does not want me sitting it on the side of the road with out transferring it.
SO more then likly i am done hunting for the year with no deer. [:@][:@][:@]

Tag soup never tastes good.

However, it sounds like you have bigger problems right now

Ya 50 bucks in tags this year. Then figure the 1500 in gear. 200 in gas. I had fun though. Between the truck stand getting half stolen and my insulated coverall srinking to the point my legs were not cover in the dryer. It was a bad year. Could have been worst i did not fall from the stand shoot any one or or get shot

Sorry to hear that Tim. I'm thinking you'll figure out something yet so you can do some more hunting before the season's done. Borrow a friends vehicle here and there?
