Default 11/15/08 Buck

I shot this buck on Sat. I knew that I didn't dare post until I figured out how to put a picture with it. No man-law violations here. I shot him at thirty yards. Went through one lung, square through the heart, and then exited through the opposite shoulderblade. I wouldn't of believed it unless I saw it myself. It sounded like it hit a tree. It still had enough force to stick in the ground on the other side. I shoot a Hoyt Katera at seventy pounds. I use a rage two-blade. I know the Kateras carry a little more noise, but with what I just witnessed, I am going to keep it. I also got it all on camera, but that will be a dead of winter journey to put it on here when things are slowing down. I am the one holding the rack.
