OK thanks to who ever stole the ladder from my stand. But if i catch you your still going to the hospital.
Well since someone got my ladder from my stand i had to rethink my hunting area. I went out to set up my pop up. I set it up across the creek to the west across a clearing my stand was near.
I set it up and taught maybe i should walk across the clearing to where my stand was maybe someone wanted the spot. I made it five feet then saw some good signs. This area is right south of a thicket i mean real thick. There are good clean woods to the south of the clearing.
The clearing is about 15 years by 500 yards it runs all of the back of the thicket.
I walked it before it had some signs but not alot.
Well i saw 4 rubs and small tree right on trails running through the thicket to the woods. There were like five trails running east to west with the clearing. I think they walk the clearing to the creek i was on.
But there not walking across the creek and i never saw deer there.
gun season starts tomorrow and i can not wait to check the spot out.
I spooked a deer in the clover field to the north of the thicket. She ran right down to where i set up at.
If the day goes well i guest getting my ladder stolen was not all bad.

well if your talking about bill. i would kick him in the nuts and ask why he needs to steal my stuff when he is rich.

Sounds like we may have a rumble in the jungle. Good luck with the deer and finding the idiots. We had some problems with some people a couple years ago some hunted out of our duck blind on the river then stole the blind and shot up the bench we lift them a warning note under there wind shield wipers and we never saw them again puzzling.
