Default Lots of questions?

I need help! I went to were im going to be hunting saterday morning. I had made 2 mock scrapes it had been a week sence id been there. I get there and i found about 20 scrapes all around the mock ones and one rub, all fresh.

First question- Why did this deer make so many scrapes.

Second question- I had been putting active scrape in it should i go back tomorow and freshen it up then leave it alone til saterday? Or shouldI not go back at all?

Third question- How muchwill this deer weigh?

Fourth question- How many points doyou think? I keep thinking hes a eight but im just hopen.

heres the pic ill post a doe in the same spot to to judge off of.

I think that this would be a great tool for you.

Looks like he is checking scrapes at night, there.

He is a BIG deer, no doubt.

Sounds like to me you pissed a buck off and he thinks there is an intruder in his territory. That could be the reason there is so much sign around that area with your mock scrape.

Wait til Saturday and make it fresh for when you hunt it.

The pics hard somewhat hard to judge....that deer could be an 8, a 14, or a 6. It's really impossible to tell....as far as weight goes, I'm not going to even venture to take a guess, but he looks pretty impressive.

I was thinking around 200 maybe more for the weight. The doe would go around 110 thats what im judging it off.

Im thinking that you need to get a new cam. The timing just isnt right. But a big bodied buck none the less. im going to say 180-190lbs max. either way hes a shooter inmy book.

Tried to lighten a little. Still hard to tell, but looks to be a nice buck. I'm thinking shooter.
Good luck!

That's sound advice. Each time you go in there you're leaving more than the scrape scent....you'r eleaving YOUR scent, too. This big guy (and yes...he's big) might not tolerate YOUR scent in there.

Hunt it...and re-scent it (the scrape) then.

Good luck to you!
