Default Saw A White Buck Tonight

Did a little ground hunting tonight and called in a white buck. It was only a 4 pointer and still pretty small, but thought it was cool. It was NOT an albino buck as his eyes were not pink, but the rest of him was white as snow. Watched him come in and when he didn't see a doe, he took off again pretty fast, but what a sight! After that, all I saw besides the squirrels was a little bird who landed on my arrow as I sat there. Little brown, white and black bird not much bigger than the broadhead.

No shot opportunity? I'd love to see something like that.

I had the opportunity to shoot, but all 24" would not have helped my team much. My thought while watching him was "I hope he lasts a couple more years!"

That's some wishful thinking that he lasts a couple years!
Very cool sight, I'd love to see it. Couldn't get any pictures? You know how we are on HNI with pictures

My digital Canon Rebel does not hang around my neck while hunting. I don't have a small digital camera either. So all you can do is close your eyes and imagine a 1 1/2 year old with a small 4 point rack. Now pour in bleach and imagine it all white.

I believe i would have taken that. The owner of the bow shop I use shot one exactly as you desribed it. He fully mounted it, and it's awsome!

Nah, not for me. Let him alone for this year and as long as he stays put, he's safe (other than coyotes). I'll leave him alone for now. I can see him in a couple of years being a good shooter. If he does last a couple more, he'll have a chance of having some offspring to give me more chances after that.
