Default BowTech In-Velvet durability problem????

Well, after having my 82nd Airborne for around 8 months now, I have noticed that the In-Velvet finish seems to be wearing off much faster than any previous bow that I have owned. My 05 Old Glory which I used very heavily for two full seasons has less than half the wear that my 82nd does. The front of the riser around the grip is nearly entirely white, and the edges around the side and back of the grip are wearing down. The finish is wearing off on the riser shelf from where my arrow sits when my bow is laying on my lap while hunting, and camo is also wearing on the edges of the riser where it makes contact with my bow case!

Is anybody else having these issues with their In-Velvet BowTechs or am I just un-lucky?

Unlucky, or common issue....

I hope they take care of it. That sucks.

Couldn't tell ya, BM. I use mine pretty harshly....and I haven't noticed the finish failing. I'll give it a look, tomorrow. I use the place between the stab. and the sight to push down barbed wire fences I cross.....so if it's failing on my bow...that'll be the first place.

I might be different than most, though. I don't baby mine at all. I don't abuse it, either.

I'll check it out. It's been afield 61 times, now, this year.

Had the same problem with mine. Especially around the grip.
