Default First Archery Kill for LKNHUNTRESS - Doe Down in NC

After hunting hard for the past few days Lknhuntress made her first bow kill on a nice North Carolina Doe. Lknhuntress, my Buddie Steve from NY, and I went out hunting yesterday afternoon. Lknhuntress took the food plot stand at one of our hunting spots. We saw good activity there the past few days but she hadn't been able to get a shot. At sundown a doe stepped out of the thicket from behind.Lknhuntress quickly drew her Mathews DXT back, settled her pin behind the doe's shoulderand released her Slick Trick tipped arrow. The doe was 10 yards from her stand and the arrow found it's mark. She called me on my cell very excited, so I rushed over to help her recover the deer. It didn't go very far and the blood trail was easy to follow. Steve and I congratulated her on her first archery kill, she was so excited and happy. This was a hunt to remember for everyone. It has been a long time coming for her,she was persistent even after going out quite often for 6 weeks without seeing a deer. It was a good time and I am very proud of her.

By the look of the pictures, she's very proud of herself also. Congratulations on the first kill...and being hooked for life.
