Well heres my 6th tom with a bow! I sat for 5 hours today in the Double Bull and didnt have anything come closer than 50 yards so I decided that Id give stalking a try with rainy conditions...who knows...maybe itd work. So I drop down around a small pond and work my way up the hill trying to get around the side of it where I KNOW the turkeys are feeding. I cam just over the rise and I saw a red head....nocked my arrow and waited...guessed him at 40 yards and drew. Settled me pin....let er fly, hit him above the legs....not my favorite place to hit em but it did the trick. He took off and flew for about 80 yards and piled up! I Was excited, I had just gotmy 2nd fall bird with a bow by stalking it. It was fun and I wish that I had some more hunting to do this year!!
