I had made a post on here a few days ago about me purchasing a acre and a half to hunt on.well,i went to close on the property the other day and decided against it.i am now going to be putrchasing 9.36 acreas of wooded land with rolling hills.i feel this size lot should be much more suitable to hunt on....thanks for all the advice guys

If that 1.5 is in the right spot.....I'd take it over 5 (or more)acres somewhere else.

Both of my 8's on the wall came from the same 6 acre woodlot (40 yds apart)that abuts a county parks system. I'd buy that 6 acres before I'd buy the 40 on either side of it (I hunt those spots, too).

Congrats on your purchase, though. You'll never regret purchasing land.
