82nd Airborne Shooters?

Ok I have been throwing around a couple of options for my new bow. I want something withan IBO starting well over 300 fps. This way I can set a slightly heavy arrow and still be flying around 300 fps. With that said I the 82nd seems like my only logical choice by bowtech. The only hesitation I have is the long axle to axle length. So for those of you that shoot it is the axle to axle length noticably differant than say the 33.5 axle to axle of the Diamond victory. I know some smart """ will say yeh its 2.5 in but you know what i am saying.

You won't have problems with 36" ATA, think about it, an extra 1.5" on each end of the bow over a33". My PSEDream Season is 33" ATA but the cams are so huge that it's comprable to a 36" bow I'd imagine.

The 82ndis a fine bow but that brace height is tough, there might be some deals out there on the discontinued 101st as a more forgiving option that will still easily break 300fps.

You won't have a problem with a long a to a bow

I went from a Mathews SQ2 to an 82nd. The SQ2 was 31 inches axel to axel. I was a little reluctant at first, but after I shot the 82nd for a while I don't regret making the switch. I haven't had any problems out of my stand with my 82nd.

Probably for the same reason you felt it necessary to say that your 33" PSE was comparable to the 36" 82nd?

As to the original question, the 36" ATA doesn't seem to be much of a problem. Granted I used mine only on a spot and stalk mulie hunt and not out of a ground blind or treestand, I'm sure you'll have no difficulties adjusting to it.

The 6" BH doesn't appear to be much of an issue either. I was drilling my target at 60 yards with my broadheads while on the trip.
