Default BBD in Indiana. Whats the Score?

This morning was a magical morning. my morning sociology class got canceled so i was able to go hunting. i got moved from my normal spot where i set up my tree-stand because the landowners brother was worried that i would shoot his buck. so i went to a new spot i have sat at only once and seen nothing. this morning was different. i was sitting in a PURPLE fold up chair backed up to a small finger of tall grass. surrounded by fence rows and open crop fields. i heard what i though was grunts coming in from behind me. i was not sure so i sat tight. at first light i saw the silhouette of a doe out in the field. as i was watching her i caught movement CLOSE. the very first thought was that i was too close to the deer. when it picked up its head i knew right away it was a buck and the biggest i have ever seen. he walked right down my trail because i sprayed my boots with doe urine and dragged a code blue estrous scent pad in with me. at about 7 yards from me he looked right up at me. and i thought for sure i was done. but he just kept walking and looking back at the doe in the field, and looking at me. when he got past me and was now at 10 yards i decided it was now or never. i drew back as fast and quietly as i could as he turned away. set the pin on his chest and put a smack down on him quartering away. i heard him running through the grass but i did not hear a big crash. i waited my half hour then went to find my arrow could not find. so i went to begin tracking found no blood only specs where i found half my arrow covered in blood. so i knew i had a good hit. i decided since i had no blood to go by and it was so thick that i would circle around the grass swail and look into the miles of fields. surely he would be in the field. he was not. now i get worried. so i decided to walk down the back side of the fence row. i found him in the short grass.. he did not even make it 40 yards from where i shot him.. i hope the pics come through if they do not i would love to email them to someone so they could post them for me. he is a good 11 point with pal mated brows. very symmetrical.
