I have chewed tobacco for about 18 years now, and never take it to the stand durring bow season.
Just wanted to know how many guy chew tobacco in the stand durring bow season? If you spit do you spit on the ground or not.

I do sometimes. I take a plastic bottle with me for just that. I'm sure I may have had deer not come in that maybe would have, but I have never been busted, yet. I bagged a 135" er this year, so let the debate begin.

Have one time this year, spit in a bottle too.. Had a little 4 point at about 12 yards downwind. I think I just got lucky he didn't wind me. I think I will leave it in the truck for the rest of the year though.

I chew on stand, always have and always will. I don't spit much, I gut most of It. Last year my 140" buck was directly below my stand and the one time I did spit that evening It hit my bottom tree peg. He proceeded to lick the peg for about 5 minutes, It was his last meal.

heres what i did when i use to dip (quit last week). While in my ground blind i would take a bottle of scent killer with me and spit on the ground. when i did, i spray it. I only spit ever 25-30 minutes though so you guys who cant hold it in my have some trouble. then when i took it out i would spray the dip and burry it wiht dirt. Always worked for me haha. while in a tree stand i would spit in a bottle.
