Default MMMMM that was good

My dad told me a neighbor got a deer. He also said the guy need something to hang it on. I happen to have a gamble i bought a few years back.
I went down and told him he could use the gamble and end up giving it to him.
He was skinning the deer and we were talking. Then as he went to pull the frontquarters off and the head he tells me he does not mess with the front quarters as there is not much meat and it is tough. I was surprised!!
I said if your not going to use them i would take them, So he wacked them off and gave them to me.
He left it to hang over night and with the temp around 38 right now and 22 tonight i do not think it will be a issue. Except for he has it low to the ground and the local stray dogs might eat it tonight.

I come on cut the meat off and IT seem to be alot of work. I had trouble getting the hair off.
I seasoned some and fried it for dinner. It was tough but dam good.
It has been a year and half since i had any and 2 1/2 since i had more then a few pounds. I thought i was going to pass out when i ate it.
God it was good. He said they were moving good just starting to chase.

I told him if he need help either hanging stands or dragging one let me know that i had a game cart.
He said he would bring me some burger down when he gets done tomorrow.
I hope i can get to know him good. I need a hunting Buddy. since i knowvery little about hunting and the area.
