Default Got my first Wall Hanger

On the 26th of October I finally shot a deer that I felt worthy of hanging on the wall. I was hunting in Pike County, IL with Whitetail Ventures and shot this guy at 5:30 in the evening during a wind storm. When he first came out, his head was behind a tree and I thought he was a doe. When he turned and I seen his antlers, I knew he was way bigger than anything I have ever killed with any weapon. He was feeding away from me out in a corn field and too far for a shot. I had The Can call with me from Primos and figured I would try it out. I turned it over, the buck stopped in his tracks, turned around, and started coming straight for me. He made his way towards me and when he got behind a tree I drew my bow. He stepped out and I shot him at 15 yards. I shot him with a Rage 2 blade and he only went about 65 yards and piled up. The hole this broadhead puts in deer is crazy. I have a 27" draw pulling 62lbs and only shooting ~240fps. I blew clean through this deer and buried in the ground. Sorry about the blood on his mouth...I cleaned him up but guess he blead some more before we took the pics.
Oh...I forgot... He scored 124 7/8. 55 0/8 on the left 55 1/8 on the right and 14 6/8 inside spread. Almost perfectly symmetrical.

And one of the Family.
