Default Two sits and nothing...

two sits in two afternoons produces jack. The weather was in the 70's yesterday and the wind blew about 15-20 for most of the afternoon. Man, we really need some better weather, this is really getting me down.

Be grateful! I've spent the past two afternoons in a crawl space running some new circuits for our gym. Its all relative brother. I would have loved to be in a stand seeing nothing!

If you were 30-40% overweight and wearing a down comforter would you move in weather like that if you didn't have to? Kinda hard to blame them, but "have to" is coming up shortly.

x2, and its 75 here now [&:]

...and there was absolutely NO wind, and I didn't even hear a M/L shot this morning at all! (did hear 2 high power rifle shots back to back, 7am - guess they were sighting in )

I really hope it gets going soon, this is the slowest I think I've ever seen it this week in Nov around here

Its getting better here in Illinois now and I hope so. Deer activity has really slowed down the last few days, so its beggin to bust loose. So much standing corn in neighbors fields.....damn I hope they start picking quick.

Landon, they are calling for 35% rain, but in the low 40's overnight. Im planning on being there when the sun comes up no matter what the rain is, if it gets too bad I will get out of the tree. Im 2 for 2 so far with my hunts since Saturday so Im hoping to get lucky with the one I really want.

Im not sure why you havent had better situations. Ive been in a pile of deer everytime I sit down. Wednesday I waited until the sun was going down and decided on a 2-3 yr doe...only because I have already eaten my backstraps from my Saturday buck.

Rut is going on here!I have chosen my stands carefully with the bad winds this week. Tomorrow I dont think wind is going to be a factor. Early morning will be chilly and when you combine that with the rut phase somethings gonna happen. I have a few stands you would enjoy if you want to come up.
