Default It's a good day.

After work today, I'm headed to the airport to meet my son. I haven't seen him since early February - just before he deployed to Iraq. We're going to stop by Bass Pro Shop and pick up a few things for him, and then after stopping for dinner, we'll head home, pack up and leave Fridayfor a 10 day hunt.

He's a fine young man and I'm proud of him - for more reasons than one. Deer or no deer, this willundoubtedly be the best hunt of my life.

I've been living the entire year for the next 11 days, and I'm more than a little excited.

Tell the boy "Thanks" and thank you as well.

It's gonna be a great hunt regardless of deer as you say. I'm guessing the "boy" has done alot of growing up since February and has seen things I never will. Ought to be a great relaxer for him.

Accman,
When were you in the Navy, and what were you? Just as a guess... DK, SK or AK?
