This is actually very true. Once the rutting moon occurs bucks will be chasing does frantically and does too, will be on the move more as well. Good info.

There are 2 does laying on the road by the field I hunt. They are within 50 yards of each other. But the second one got hit the other morning when I went out to hunt. I just got settled on the ground, and I hear the squeal of tires and the SMACK!!!!! I must have spooked it out of the field when I walk in. It was still a little dark and I didn't see it. Then yesterday I walked over to see if I could find a better spot and I got blown at. I never even saw what it was. Just my luck. All I have left is a doe tag and there getting hit on the road,[:@]go figure
