Default Pinned down, again.....What an idiot.

I got pinned down again tonight at dark by some deer. I kept hearing them but couldn't see them in my binos.

I stayed put for 30 minutes or so.....because I was in a spot I didn't wanna spook does or bucks. So I sit there....and sit there....and then I think the dang thing is rubbing the big oak I'm in!

I finally get my binos on the ......raccoons. What an idiot.

I got pinned down by a squirrel yesterday morning. At about 30 minutes after sun-up I look up by my right ear and a squirrel is sticking his head out of a giant hole in the side of the tree...I nearly fell out of my treestand and was scared the little thing would bite my ear off the rest of the hunt.

I know I've gotten pinned in the tree by Pepe LePew on more than one occasion. Luckily I could make out his racing stripe and didn't end up stepping intohis line of fire. I almost stepped on onein the ditch ten yards from the truck last year. Talk about scent control problems. [:'(]
