Default time to eat crow

Some of you might remember my story of the guy pulling a gun on me and some of you said "you should have shot him".

Well I found out that my distant neighbor had a guy pull a gun on him and discharge said firearm at him. So for all the people who said I should have shot him time for you to eat your crow its not a question of if he would have shot back more of a question of how good of a shot he is really.

Those saying you should have shot him are obviously wrong, but I still say you had your cell on him and should have called 911 immediately.

I agree Rob.
This makes a third. Shooting him would've only caused a bigger problem for both parties.

I had a run in with an armed redneck last year.....and the "mouthiness" he spewed made me madder than a hornet. I exchanged displeasantries with him for a few times.....until I realized he had a rifle and I had a longbow. Nothing like taking a longbow to a gunfight, huh?

I called the authorites as soon as I got out of the woods.....and nothing happened...although he'd trespassed across at least 5 properties to get to where he was....and last time I saw him he was walking into a county parks system with said weapon.

What does it take to get someone arrested?

I can't imagine any other responsible course of action.

Do you ever have a hunt or a post that doesnt involve, you thinking someone poached your deer, someone pulling a gun on you or a friend, someone ruining your hunt on semi private land? I swear with all the drama you seem to have hunting you should host your own TV hunting reality show.
