It's Starting Already!

Everyone has a right to vote for whomever they wish, but the hunting aftermath has already started! Heavy B didn't come home this morning. I didn't go out due to the high winds and lightning, but have been watching out the window all morning and he didn't come back in! Deer must have been throwing a party all night because a lot of people got snookered into voting the wrong way!

Seriously, I hope its just the weather pattern caused him to go to heavy timber. A little concerned that he did not return.

Is it possible Heavy B never left the cover last night due to the weather? Just wondering! If he's been that predictable, you've had to been close to killing that Hoss.

I watched him last night head South into the wind which was a change for him. One thing you have to give older bucks, they didn't get older by sticking to a constant pattern. We'll see what happens. I hope to see him again after this weather front goes through. Even though we had lightning and high winds, the forecast now is for the front to move through tomorrow. Chance of snow showers Friday night. I believe this will help with the rut.
