Default Estrus? How do I know if it's fresh or last year's overstock?

I believe it's time to start laying down scent trails with estrus. The problem I worry about is getting stuff that is staleleft over junk from the previous year(s). Is there a brand that can guarantee I have good estrus collected this year?

taste it!

seriously, if you can, find a deer farm local...or a small outdoor shop that carries REAL scent from a deer farm. i can smell the difference in the stuff over the store bought stuff...totally different smell...

if you cant find anything local, ordering online would be your next best bet...but the stuff is limited quantity usually and might be hard to find now...most farms that are in the urine business have a way to bring them into estrous a bit early so that they have the stuff ready before the hunters can use it..

No clue how to tell if its fresh, but I can tell you Buck Bomb put our UltimateCamo bark pattern on a few hundred thousand cans with our logo on the back, I know those cans were just and shipped out to Bass Pro, Cabelas, Walmarts and lots of stores. The owner told me that most of the bigger companies use the same deer pee collection farms as there are only a few big enough to supply the large amounts needed for the big scent companies.

That's the problem with urine containing estrous (see spelling). Once you open it, it immediately starts to turn.
