Default Looks like a Rob buck

Here is the buck I shot tonight. It is a little smaller than I had hoped but I believe I made the right decision to take him out. I was on stand all day except for about an hour. I saw one small buck in the morning and 3 does ten or fifteen minutes before this guy showed up. I grunted to him twice and he came right in!
The does where being pushed by something but I do not believe it was this guy. He came from the other direction as far as I could tell. It was very thick in the creek bottom where they were.
Anyway does this deer qualify for the Rob buck category?

Here is a close up of the broken antler. After removing the broken antler we cut of the other horn and the skull looked fairly normal. It had some damage and I am sure the deer had a hell of a headache!!!! Also after skinning him out we discovered bruises around the neck indicating this antler was broken due to fighting and not a car.

Looks like a bigger buck busted him up a little bitbefore you shot him.

I can't tell from the pic, but what is up with the right side of the rack? Please tell the story. Congratulations on the buck.

Way to go Denny. I'll call that a Rob buck any day. These deer just want in the club soo bad they are beating their heads off trees to ruin one side. "Rob Buck Envy" is sweeping the herds like a bad music trend.

I have trail cam pictures of at least 2 bigger buck in that area. One would maybe make 110" My guess is he ran into one of them.

Denny, fantastic like I said in the text and phone call. Fantastic and I agree, that was/is a great buck to shoot. Especially with only 4 days left in your season cause we pull out for IL next weekend. Well you and Kurt will cause I'm headed out a day earlier.

Congratulations Denny "wags" tkycaller. He certainly does have Rob buck envy, he knows the ladies love the tough ones.

Tough sob wasn't he.
