Default Temperature 45 degrees...ok to let doe go overnight

My buddy hit a doe tonight a bit far back, about mid body and 4-6 inches up from the bottom of her belly. I did get all this on tape and I will try to post it up when I am home. It looks to me like front of guts, maybe liver area. I told him we should just back out and let her go overnight as it will dip down into the mid to low 40's tonight. He is worried about her spoiling, but I don't think it will be a problem....Any thoughts on this guys? Is there a rule of thumb temperature wise? Thanks for the info.

She'll be fine. I've let them lay with higher temps with no issues. I did it just this year.

No problems.
