How many arrows shot out of your bow?

Have any of you ever figured out how many arrows have been shot out of your bow? A guy In the Traditional forum asked me this very same question so I went back and thought long and hard about It. Every year from June 15th on I get In a pretty good grove and usually stick to It all the way through December. Here's what I came up with.

This Is my 14th year hunting with this bow. Here's the numbers I came up with. They should be fairly close, give or take a couple hundred.[8D]

This year alone I've averaged at least 350 arrows a week since June 15th up till now (18 weeks total). So far this year I'd say about 6,300 arrows shot out of It (50 arrows a day). I shot allot more this year then usual because of bow troubles. The other years I'd say I shot right around 2500 arrows a year (13 a day) - 13 years at 2500 arrows= 32,500 arrows shot + the 6,300 this year comes out to 38,800 total on arrows shot out of my recurve so far. Wow!!!! I never would of guessed that I've shot that many arrows out of this bow. Kinda neat to know!! Chances are I'll hit 40,000 by the time the year runs out.

What about some of your bows? How many arrows you think It's shot?

I was thinking maybe a thousand out of my new bow(bought Jan08). I'd say you've got me beat by a few.

I never would of guessed It Bob with myself. Did you have any Idea It was that much with your bows?

Probably not.

I based my estimate it on two dozen or just less per day on average. That's nothing though if you look at HH's one gross of arrows per day (that's over 50,000 per year).

I really have no idea. If I had to guess.....lets say around 100 arrows a week (which is being modest), that would put me at 3500-4000 arrows since I have owned my bow. (Jan. 08)

I honestly think that number is a little low. I have put alot of arrows through mybow in the last 6 months.

I would guess right around 2000 on my Instinct (bought end of '07).

I shoot an aaverage of 24 shots a day sometimes I can only get 12 out and most of the time more. So an average of 24 a day everyday of the week year round so 52 weeks approx9000 a year after 2 years I am looking at 18000. Most likely more.

I dont even want to guess mine.

I dont practice much during season. Most of the shooting is in the summer. But a few days this past summer I shot between 150-200 shots. Usually I shoot about 60-70 arrows a day. Not shooting every day of the week though. I usually shot about 4-5 days of the week shooting at differant times of the day.
But right now when I practice I usually shoot my broadheads which I only shoot about 5 times for each arrow.

when I shoot in the summer I have atleast 9-10 differant arrows to shoot so the count goes up quick.

I just tuned my new DXT yesterday at lunch. It has 15 shot through it.
