Default Interesting Sighting Saturday

Well it wasn't a deer, in fact i got skunked yesterday by the deer, and the t small flocks of turkeys I had within range never came into a shooting lane but I did happen to have a Fisher run up to me yesterday at 5yds stop look up at me for a few seconds and run away. Unfortunately he was too quick for me and i didn't get any pictures of him but overall a very elusive animal. Deffinitly a sighting I will never forget.

For those of you that dont know what a Fisher is here is a pic one.

That is a great sighting. I can honestly say, I've never seen one here in PA.

On Saturday I had a great encounter with a fisher. I was in my stand and heard this sound coming from my left, I slowly looked over my shoulder and noticed this small dark looking animal coming up over this hill. This is when I realized it was a fisher, it continued to travel out in front of me and disappeared over the next hill.

Well about 20minutes later, I see movement coming towards me where I last saw the fisher disappear, but this time I notice something different about him. He is carrying a big fat grey squirrel in his mouth! I tell you it was one of the coolest things I have seen afield.

I just wish I was carrying the camera with me that day[:@]

That is really cool. I've never seen one in PA either. I did see on while hunting in Maine this year. I thought they'd be bigger than what they are.
