Default bright red, kind of watery blood

Any ideas, stupid lumenock didn't come on, so I'm not too sure of where i hit. Lots of blood for about 200 yrds before i backed out, never did find any arrow. THe buck was quartering away pretty good when I shot, I guess it's possible the arrow is inside the body cavity. It was just a 170" 14 pt by the way. I don't think Ill be sleeping too much tonite.

Oh man! Here we go again. How long did you wait before tracking. Did the deer every bed down? 200 yrds is a long way for a deer hit in the vitals not to at least bed down unless you kept him on his feet. Good luck sleeping tonight! I hope he is right were you left off. Watery blood is usually a gut shot. I hope he lies down and dies in his bed.

If you don't know where you hit him, why in the world would you start tracking him in the dark? Shoulda waited till morning, that is a for sure no doubter.

Hopefully, what felt like 200 yards really wasn't. If so, good chance you will find him in the morning. If you really went 200 yards and he hadn't laid down, I am guessing muscle wound.

I got a little skeptical on my last Doe I shot. I didnt see my arrow, but every thing felt perfect, and she was going down before she got out of the field. I heard her crash, and kick, and silence. Everything you want to here and see. But when I retrieved my arrow, It had chunks of meat on it, That worried my a little, I still "knew" she was down, but waited a couple of hours anyway. She was down as I suspected. Went through both shoulders.
