Default draw em in?

ok - so i'm in my ground blind this morning and a buck steps into the area i'm covering. He's out of my shooting range by about 10 or 15 yards. He continues to go across and remain out of bow shot. Very frustrating! I made the best doe grunt i could do (i have not idea how good or bad it was). he stopped, turned his head to look for a second and then continued on his way. I had the bow drawn, ready to go - he never saw me - just kept meandering through.

do you guys have any methods of drawing them closer? just a little closer! all i needed was 10 or 15 yards and i would have taken the shot.

aside from that, i think i'll be moving my position a little to get a better overall chance at getting a shot.

thanks!
