Default Cracked Cam on Golden Eagle Bow

Took my bow to the shop, just to find out the bottom cam is cracked. The shop owner said it should be ok to finish out the season. Also said he could not replace the cam..?? Could the cold weather cause the plastic to become brittle when I am hunting??? Yea it's an old bow.

Default RE: Cracked Cam on Golden Eagle Bow

If you have a cracked cam, I hate to tell you,I wouldnt shoot the bow. Im sure others may agree with me on this. too much can go wrong. the cold shouldnt do this. more than likely just the age of the bow. if its in your budget, start looking for a new bow asap.
