Default New Property Access - w/Pics - Updated

I was blessed with some real good luck this week, a good family friend of ours was able to get me permission to bowhunt their family property. He tried to get me access last year, but to no avail. So I here is the tract, it is a bit small and the west property line I'm not 100% sure on, but I need some ideas on where to start off.

Here's what I do know about the tract: It's mostly mixed hardwoods, predominately oak, with a couple scattered pines of different types. There is a stand on the property somewhere, I'm not sure on the location, but I do have permission to hunt existing stand. If I can find the stand that is already there tomorrow afternoon (It's on my way back from school), I may hunt it saturday morning and hang a stand for the afternoon somewhere else based on the suggestions I get here.

So where would you recommend starting?

Updated: Added a couple spots I thought looked promising...

This is a tuough farm to judge by photo since it is a solid block of timber. I would set up somewhere along the 1000' topo line since that is what i think is the highest spot on the farm (I can't see the next marked topo line to the south) and scope it out for a while. If all the surrounding crop fields have been picked you can bet on the deer eating the acorns. Now you have to put in some time and figure out where the highest concentration of feeding is.

I like that ridge where you have those two blue dots placed on the right hand side. If you can find some mature oaks that are dropping acorns near that spot, I can't see how you couldn't go wrong!

LOL mine had about 200 without a reply.

I don't think a lot of people know how to read them, or don't like to help, not sure.

But everywhere you have a blue dot, is where I would have one, no kiddin'.

Looks like a tough piece to hunt, but looks like it will hold deer for sure.

I wasn't expecting a whole lot of responses, but I figured it was worth a shot. I'm gonna try to stop there on the way home from school today and see if I can't locate the stand that is already there without stinking up the place too much. I figured I can use that as an observation stand if nothing else and then go hang another for the afternoon.

I was thinking the same thing. I also liked the far right dot on the edge of the field there, between the cut corn or soy (I assume one of the two, and that either are cut) and the fact that most of the property is oak, I think that corner could be a decent spot.

Where at in the lower left? I do have a spot marked on the edge of what looks like a draw.
