Default Too late?

Got a question for you all. Since tomorrow is the hallowed, halloween would it be wise to head to the stand at 415-430 pm? i wont get back home from college until around then, and i want to know if it will be worth it, or will i risk messing it up for the morning by entering so late?

That is kind of pushing it i think. i try to be in the stand by 4. it all depends on where the deer are bedding and where you have your stand. if it is further away you have a little more tie to get there before they start moving. the choice is yours.

What timezone are you in and where is your stand? If you are on the edge of a food source you can be a bit later to the stand than if you're near a bedding area or transition zone. I hit the stand at 5:30 central time Monday night on a travel corridor from bed to feed and scored a nice buck 15 minutes later. That being said, from what I've read and seen the bucks are moving even earlier just 4 days later.

well its on the edge of a picked bean field, central time zone, im in SE Minnesota. Havent seen any bedding in their this year, but they have in the past. the only other thing that scares me, is getting to the stand in daylight is catch 22. I have to enter through the open bean field. I have done this in the past and still seen deer, im just worried about messing the next morning up, because a week ago i saw the biggest buck in my life at sunrise

well, the biggest buck youve ever seen is still around somewhere in the evening too so you might as well go. you never know, you might kill him then

I cant get into the stand until 4:30 everyday, I know I risk pushing deer and have done that this year, but tonight it almost payed off and I still saw plenty of deer, get out there and hunt that bad boy
