Squirrels -- Things I'm convinced of:

1. I'm convinced that squirrels are God's curse on bowhunters....for inventing the term "cull buck".

2. I'm convinced that a man could enter the top ten most prolific squirrels killers in the world list if he'd hang a tree stand and put a bow on a hook.....and hide his rifle.

3. I'm convinced the squirrels where i live practice 8.5 months out of the year .....trying to replicate the sound a deer makes moving through the woods in dry leaves. And...they're damned good at it.

Tree rats?? I had one Saturday morning barking like hell at me because it caught me wipe my nose or something. I must have startled it I guess! That sucker went on for what seemed like an eternity! If it were not above me in the tree, I would have considered trying to shishkebob the thing.

I witnessed squirrel sex 3 days ago while in the woods.....not something I would like to see again.

I almost forgot about this. Last time I was out which was Saturday evening. I had a squirrel go past me about 5 yards out on my right.

1 minute later I hear "crunch crunch crunch". I am thinking "stupid squirrel go away".
I slightly turn my head to the right and look down and here stands a small spike buck))).

I'm convinced that every year about October, all squirrels in every tribe assemble and smoke wacky weed, which in turn convinces them they are invincible. Twice this year I've had a squirrel nearly jump onto my climber in a show of bravado........bastages!Counting Coup?
