Default Season ending injury?

I may be done bowhunting for the year. I injured my right elbow at work yesterday. I took four very painful shots with the Marquis last night. I couldn't hold at full draw. I tried shooting the longbow and couldn't even draw it due to the pain. Oddly enough my elbow and bicep felt better after the attempts but is still quite sore this morning. If I can't shoot my bow by Friday I'll get my muzzleloader out for the weekend. I hope this thing passes quickly. I just don't get the same kick from gun hunting, although if thats all I can do I'll be out there with the smokepole. If it looks like my season is really over with the bow I'll ask Rob to place an alternate on team 31. I don't wan't my teammates handicapped by my injury. My season doesn't end until January 4th so I have a couple of months to heal but I may miss the rut. [:@]

Greg, don't push it with your injury. Have a Dr check it out. May just take a couple of weeks to get better. If you push it, you may end up hurting it more. I speak from experience.[:@] Keep us advised.

Sorry to hear it. I know what you are saying. Keep your head up. I bet you are going to get better and miss only a week.

I hope the pain starts to pass quickly. If not, hunting with the smoke pole is better than no hunting at all. Good luck and hang in there.
