Well he is my second buck with a bow (my first was in Sept). I couldn't be happier. He didn'tgo two yards before he dropped. We decided to stay and hunt the evening hunt at our lease on Sunday which was a big decision since it is five hours from the house and I had to work on Monday. It was worth being tired though

RE: Hill Country Ten point
The Hill Country bucks are looking better and better each year. I use to hunt in Junction back in the 80s and there were no big deer at all.Looks like their managment practices have helped. Back in the 80s they did not have as liberal tags and the whole place was over populated.
What part of the Hill country are you hunting?
