Aged my buck this evning.
I finally got around to pulling the jaw bone out of my buck this evening and to my surprise he was a 2 1/2 year old.[/align]

Nice buck. He does look young in the face, so him being 2 1/2 is no surprise.

Hard to tell real well with the picture and how the deer is laying but he looks like a younger deer as well. Not surprised by looking at the body but he had some nice antlers for a 2.5

RE: Aged my buck this evning.
I think most people are surprised how nice a 2.5 yr old buck can get. That"™s pretty standard size for one around here.
