Default Texas hunters have you seen any sign of the rut???

I am hunting in north east texas and wondering if anybody else has seen any signs of bucks chasing yet?

No man i have a pic on my gamecam of like 4 different bucks at the feeder at the same time.

as you can see these are all small but there are four of them there and they are all bucks so i dont think the rut has started here yet but maybe it has since these pics are like a week old.

Not yet. I'm in NE Texas also, Marion county. I have been seeing active scrapes but I don't think we'll see any chasing for about 2 more weeks.

Nope. I'm in southeastern panhandle and we are still probably 2-3 weeks out. It is time though to start running some mock scrapes and getting that going. I am seeing some young buck/field edge scrapes showing up.

Keep a close eye out Greg. Talked to my taxi yesterday and he said five guys brought him bucks this weekend that were all killed either chasing or checking does (three bow and two were killed by youth during the youth rifle season). A hunting buddy went out yesterday evening and had a three point chasing a doe all over his green field
