RE: think I made up my mind!!
Twil, I have kept a back up for the last 10 years or so.....I went on a paid hunt in the middle of nowhere and had a failure (non-repairable)with my bow the second day into a 5 day hunt, it almost ruined my hunt....A buddy of mine had a back up and with just a little adjusting I was hunting that evening....From that point on I sworeI would keep a back up bow for the long trip hunts.....It's a good idea to have two IMO...
I too am looking to buy another in 09' and have looked at the captain, admiral, and the x-force ss...I have the commander now and am looking for a shorter bow for my back up.....I guess once I get them in my hands I can go from there...Good luck with the new bow and let us know what you think when you get to shoot it...
BTW-I keep them in the gun safe.....

I will be purchasing a new 09 Bowtech Captain. Can not wait to bring her home and shoot her! This will be my second bow I never owned 2 at a time but I am keeping my 08 General. So one of my questions to you guys is what kind of bow rack do you have for your house?
